Make the composer thinner, keep it on two lines, and stop it overflowing narrow panes
The composer is thinner and always gives your prompt a full line, with the model and its thinking level on the controls row below, and it no longer spills out of or loses controls in a narrow pane.
The composer takes up less room and always gives your prompt the full width: the prompt sits on its own line, with the controls on a row below it. Attach and the model are on the left of that row, and where the session runs, the context meter and send are on the right. The model and This Mac lose their dropdown chevrons; click them as before to change them.
The model names its thinking level, such as Opus 5.5 · High, or Default when you haven’t chosen one. Models that take no thinking level show only their name.
Narrow panes no longer break the composer. In the side panel the placeholder and controls used to run past its edge, and in a narrow window the attach button and model picker could vanish. Now everything stays inside: the controls shrink to icons when space is short, and a long placeholder is cut short with an ellipsis.
